Lika's contribution is indisputable even during the period when he was Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs, because it is the only period when Albanians in the Ministry of Internal Affairs felt powerful and represented.

Hazbi Lika has been one of the most critical voices within DUI since along with Rafis Ali, Fatmir Dehar and all the progressive forces within DUI who have demanded fundamental reforms within the subject.
