Students will write a book report after reading a biography of their choice.

BIOGRAPHY BOOK REPORT

If the biography you read did not contain some of this information, please look it up online or in an encyclopedia.

  1. Cover page:
    Include a drawing of your character, the title of the biography, the author of the biography and your name.

  2. Page one:
    Tell the date and place where your character was born and raised.

    Don&#;t include too many family details or details about habits and hobbies that don&#;t have anything to do with their later work.

  3. Describe the early life of your character.

You will be graded according to the following criteria:

Followed the instructions (format and content)
This means that everything you write will be on the correct page and that you have included all the necessary information.

Clarity and continuity of thought
This means that your ideas are presented in logical order and are easy to understand.

Paragraph form
This means that you have separate paragraphs for each new idea, you have used a topic sentence for each new paragraph, and sentences are complete and include correct punctuation.

New paragraphs should be indented. You should use one inch margins.

Spelling
Check your spelling before handing in the report.

Neatness
Any corrections on the final draft should be done neatly.
